'He's 100% Yid'

Hi folks,

Earlier this week, I stumbled across one of those weird New York Jewish stories that just gets weirder the closer you look.

Orthodox rabbis were saying that beer was forbidden until late May. Except for Budweiser. Because a certain beer wholesaler is Jewish. But not the right kind of Jewish. And also kind of the most Jewish person in the city of New York.

Long story short, I seem to have turned a fight among rabbis about beer into a two-day story. I thought I'd share the spoils.

Here's the first article, about the edict to "stick to Budweiser."

And here's the second article, in which the wholesaler says: "‘Okay, tell me, tukhes afn tish, how much is this going to cost?’"
